30 Girls. 3 Districts. One Chance to Protect Their Future.

Across Kampala, Kalangala, and Luwero, there are girls who have done everything right.

They have worked for years to reach Primary Seven (P7) and Senior Four (S4) — the most important stages of their education journey. But for some girls, the final obstacle is not failure.

It is poverty. Some spend six years in primary school, only to miss Primary Seven because school fees are unpaid.

Others struggle through secondary school, only to reach Senior Four and fail to register for final examinations.Years of sacrifice are lost at the final step.

And just like that, a future is put on hold.

She is ready for school. Poverty should not stop her.

This Is More Than a Campaign

This is a fight for fairness.

M-LISADA Organisation is launching an urgent campaign to support 30 vulnerable girls in candidate classes so they can stay in school, register for examinations, and complete their education with dignity.

Meet the Girls Behind the Numbers

These are not statistics.

They are girls with names, dreams, fears, and determination.

Easther Kabagehi – Luwero

Easther studies at M-LISADA Passion Primary School.

She is disciplined, respectful, and eager to learn. Every day she comes to school carrying hope that education will help her build a better life.

She dreams of succeeding, supporting her family, and becoming a role model for other girls.

But when fees delay or materials are missing, her future becomes uncertain.

Her Voice

“I study hard because I know education can change my life. I want to finish school, help my family, and make them proud. Please do not let poverty stop my dream.”

Angel Mbabazi – Kampala

Angel studies at Patience Primary School.

Angel lives in a low-income community where many children face hardship every day. Yet she keeps showing up to school with courage and hope.

She believes education can lift her beyond poverty and open new possibilities.

But hunger, transport costs, and unpaid requirements often stand in her way.

Her Voice

“When I am in school, I feel strong and hopeful. I feel like I can become someone important. I want to learn, grow, and create a better future.”

Sarah Nabirye – Kalangala

Sarah studies at Bukasa Primary School.

Sarah comes from an area where transport and access to school resources can be difficult. Still, she remains committed to learning.

She dreams of completing school, becoming independent, and helping her family live a better life.

But determination alone cannot pay fees or buy books.

Her Voice

“I want to complete school and succeed in life. Education is my chance to change my future. If I stay in school, I know I can help my family one day.”

Easther. Angel. Sarah.

Different names.
Different districts.
Different stories.

But they face the same danger:

Poverty may decide their future before they do.

Why Supporting Girls Matters

When a girl completes school:

According to UNICEF, poverty and school-related costs remain major barriers to girls’ education in Uganda.

For many girls, candidate years become the breaking point.

Why Candidate Classes Matter

Primary Seven (P7)

The final year of primary school determines transition to secondary education.

Senior Four (S4)

The final year of lower secondary school determines access to higher education, vocational training, and future employment.

When girls miss these years, they lose far more than one exam.

  • They lose momentum.
  • They lose confidence.
  • They lose opportunity.

Our Goal: Support 30 Girls

This campaign will directly support vulnerable girls from:

These girls are ready.

They only need someone to stand with them now.
